Being Proactive

Hey #WritingCommunity on #QueryIsland I try to be proactive in doing what needs to be done when it comes to writing. I built this website because I really want to put my name out there.

I am no web designer so I took a stab at it. In looking at other author's sites, I often think my site is rudimentary and not as good, but I did it anyway.

I see many authors getting deals and representation, and it hits hard not having mine, but I query anyway.

I have made revisions, had my work professionally edited by an agent.

Suffice it to say, regardless of how hard the road is, I am going to keep pushing!

Also please be proactive about supporting each other. Our community is only as strong as we keep it!
