#QueryIsland citizens this is your mayor here talking about my self publishing trials and tribulations. Let's be real, self publishing will cost you money and time. Also, it will cost you some patience.

The money is no fun, and the time is valuable, but the patience is especially hard for me. Reformatting, ISBNs, copyright, there is soooo much to do. Marketing strategy, whether or not to do a podcast, seeking others? You literarily have to build a roadway for yourself to get to the end result!

You guys are worth your own time! Your work is worth your time! Do whatever you have to! Make your publishing dreams come true and the only way to do so is with hard work.

I had to reconcile this for myself! Guilty as charged! I was like why doesn't an agent want to take a chance on my work? Then I thought, I will just do this myself and provide proof of concept to the publishing industry. Hopefully I will several thousand of you all to go on this journey with me!
