Rainy Day Blues

Yep its raining, pouring, and my literary life is snoring. Hey #QueryIsland citizens! As the mayor of this lost accursed resort, I look i to the query trenches and I have stated to slowly shut down my station inside of them.

I want to stick it out! I mean who doesn't want an agent to pick up and champion their work, right? I am now knee deep in my self publishing research and am learning so much.

Have to say I do feel a little defeated, but I am the king of turning my defeats into some form of triumph. So while I will definitely seek traditional publishing in the future, I think my efforts are shot for this project in that arena.

I am at work here busting my ass at my job, when I would so love to be writing. Writers of the #WritingCommunity don't give up on your literary dreams and passions regardless of how you get your words out there.

Perhaps its the rain, not that it generally affects me, but today it is. Down in the dumps a bit, but still encouraged by a future that I make for my own writing. The few of you that have read this blog, thanks for reading. Going to keep posting on it for me.
