Should I Switch Gears?

Hey citizens of #QueryIsland . Tell me, do any of you ever work so hard on a manuscript that you fall in love with it to the point of being blind to criticism?

I hope I am not that way. I know the structure of my manuscript is bold and a bit against what agents and publishers might be used to, but I am going to stand by it.

Its different. No I am not trying to say its the next "Great American Novel." I am saying that I have read plenty and as of late I think the way I have structured the book is different for the current trends of the industry.

I would love for an agent to look at it and work with me to get it out there. I am probably going to have to do it myself, which I am hoping will be me working hard to prove the concept. Who knows? Maybe its all in vain. Maybe not?

Either way, I am still thinking this is going to be effort into myself.

Oh and one other thing, in case any industry pro wanted to know. I write these blogs raw, unedited. I write my stories and edit along the way.
